Forgotten History and all things Esoteric
and Occult.

We’ll see you at the crossroads.

Akasha (Sara)

A Capricorn stellium in the 5th house, Sara has been studying arts, media, and archetypes her entire life. After a stint as a design director in NYC, she jumped timelines, leaving the city behind for the wild west to explore herbalism, astrology, and, let’s be real—chase aliens. Jk. Kinda. Akasha Goods is her egregore, where she brings her artwork and alternative persona to life. With various certifications in nutrition, fitness, herbalism, astrology, archetypal studies, and psychology, Sara weaves a rich tapestry of knowledge into her creative and spiritual practices, embodying the wisdom of the archetypes she studies.

Sara has also been a chef and event organizer in Taos, NM. She believes in using food to heal the body, having recovered from an autoimmune disease five years ago. Passionate about helping her community and supporting fellow healers, she continues to educate others about the benefits of natural remedies and ancient practices. Additionally, she is engaged in ongoing studies with the Nightlight astrology school, learning from various mentors whenever possible. Other hobbies include cooking, cuddling cats, and pondering the point of existence, all of which contribute to her vibrant, multidimensional lifestyle.

Carissa

With deep roots in the natural world and a rich tapestry of experiences, Carissa blends astrology, herbalism, and Earth-based traditions to offer a unique perspective on healing and self-discovery. Born in Appalachia, her early life was steeped in connection to the land, shaped by a family tradition of gardening, foraging, and living closely with nature. This bond with the Earth and its cycles has profoundly influenced her journey.

After leaving the mountains for academic and professional pursuits—including studies in psychology, human development, and geography—Carissa faced challenges that led her to seek deeper meaning and healing. Her path wound through corporate disillusionment and addiction before a transformative move back to the land, where she rediscovered her roots and began to heal through a return to nature.

Carissa's quest for knowledge and healing brought her to Taos, New Mexico, where she studied ancestral, folk, and herbal medicine while exploring astrology online with Sajah Popham. Under the mentorship of Lucy McCall, who practices European indigenous traditions, she deepened her understanding of Earth-based spirituality, astrology, and herbalism. Carissa also learned about the rich cultural and spiritual practices of the Pueblo communities and the impact of Indigenous Spanish traditions. This experience helped her realize that all peoples honor the Earth. As she integrated the pagan Wheel of the Year into her life and celebrated holy days, Carissa found meaningful traditions to share with her son and community.

Today, Carissa blends astrology and herbalism to offer personalized readings and consultations. By examining astrological charts through the lens of medical astrology, she provides a holistic understanding of unique influences and needs. This integrative approach uncovers how different aspects of a chart interact and impact well-being, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of personal and health-related concerns, which are intertwined. Those interested in a one-on-one consultation and further exploration of these practices are encouraged to reach out.
